KMplayer for years, its always installed side by side with VLC, with KMPlayer being, in my opinion nicer looking and offer better playback options, sounding and looking better. Its a media player thats been designed by someone who actually understands user ergonomics and knows that a user has, for example, to be able to easily adjust the brightness of a movie without being distracted by contrarily arranged or fiddly menus.
